Nikki and Jacque’s wedding at the Historic Courthouse 1893 in Waukesha, Wisconsin, was a celebration filled with love, charm, and thoughtful details. As partial planning clients, they worked with us on the design of their event, and we held monthly meetings leading up to their special day. Throughout this process, we had the pleasure of meeting in person several times, allowing us to build a close and meaningful relationship. The result was a beautifully executed celebration that perfectly reflected their style and personality.
A Day of Preparation and Anticipation
The couple began their day at the Clarke Hotel in Waukesha. The groomsmen kicked things off with fresh haircuts and breakfast at a local spot we recommended, while the bridal party enjoyed a morning of relaxation and preparation. With rain in the forecast, we came prepared, equipping the couple with umbrellas to keep them dry and stress-free.
Around 1 pm, when Historic Courthouse 1893 opened its doors, the couple finalized their looks before heading out for their first look and portraits. Meanwhile, our team was hard at work, setting up their ceremony and ensuring every detail was ready before guests arrived.
A Celebration of Music, Love, and Design
Music played an integral role in Nikki and Jacque’s day, with close friends DJing and performing live during parts of the celebration. Their decor was a stunning combination of silk flower arrangements and centerpieces, paired with bud vases crafted by a local florist. Rentals, candles, and vases sourced by our team tied everything together, creating an elegant and inviting atmosphere.
Chef Jack’s, the exclusive catering team for the venue, was incredible to work with. Their martini glass salads set at each place setting added a unique touch of sophistication, and their dessert display was both visually stunning and delicious. After the ceremony, Chef Jack’s team worked seamlessly with us to flip the room for the reception, ensuring everything was ready for dinner and dancing in record time.
Smooth Sailing from Start to Finish
Though the rain and some late arrivals caused slight timing adjustments, our team worked swiftly to troubleshoot and keep the day on track. The couple’s positive outlook and the support from their friends and family ensured that nothing could dampen the joy of their day.
As the evening unfolded, we continued to manage the timeline, clean up, and support Nikki and Jacque, ensuring their wedding day remained stress-free. From packing up their decor to transporting them back to their hotel at the end of the night, we were there every step of the way.
