Alex fell in love with weddings while working on the venue and catering team at V. Sattui Winery in Napa, California. Watching couples’ stories unfold, the laughter, the tears, the little moments that felt just for them taught her that her favorite part of a wedding isn’t the décor or the timeline, it’s creating space for people to be fully present with the people they love. Now she runs a team of dedicated planners from all realms of the vendor world.

Alex has a way of making everyone—from your best friends to your grandparents—feel instantly at ease. She brings calm to the chaos, listens to your wildest ideas, and makes sure your day unfolds exactly the way you imagined.

And when it comes to design, she’s the one who can take your half-formed ideas and turn them into something you’ll never forget—intentional, personal, and completely you.

Before this wedding looked like this, we started at the drawing board.

Every wedding we design starts in mockups. Not because it’s cute, but because it’s necessary.

We test the palette before anything is printed, we plan the florals before they’re ordered, we look at layouts and ask, “Does this actually make sense in this room?”

For N & B, that meant refining soft spring tones until they felt right, not trendy. It meant layering in personal details that belonged there, not details that just photographed well. None of it was random.

Mockups are where we catch things that would feel off later. Too busy, too flat, too Pinterest.

By the time guests walked in, there were no surprises. Just a room that felt cohesive.

That’s the part most people never see, and it’s the part that makes the difference.🌷
