Meet Your Wedding Planning Bffs
Hey, I’m Alex, founder of Redwood Weddings and your behind-the-scenes bestie when it comes to wedding planning. I didn’t grow up dreaming about weddings, but I did grow up planning things, bossing people around (lovingly), and taking care of everyone around me. Turns out, those were all signs! Now, I lead an incredible team of detail-loving, down-to-earth planners who are obsessed with making your day FEEL like magic—and not just look like it.
What started as a crazy summer job in Napa (Cali babyyyy) at a cute family-owned winery working weddings- turned into a full-blown, full-heart business. We plan weddings for couples who are madly in love, wildly themselves, and not interested in cookie-cutter anything.

what we're all about
REAL LOVE AND REAL PEOPLE
THROWING TRADITION OUT OF THE WINDOW (WHEN IT FEELS RIGHT)
A WEDDING DAY THAT FEELS LIKE YOU- NOT YOUR MOM'S PINTEREST BOARD
LIGHTING YOUR CANDLES LIKE A FREAKING BOSS
SPREADSHEETS, SNACKS, AND SOLVING PROBLEMS
GOOD VIBES ONLY- ALL DAMN DAY
Meet the Team

Alex "Owner and lead planner"
Founder, cider enthusiast, and chaos-controller extraordinaire. Her wedding day superpower? Bustling a dress in under 5 minutes while the Bride walks around cocktail hour yapping with guests.
Fun Facts:
-
I cry during every daddy / daughter dance
-
My go-to processional song is "Truly Madly Deeply"
-
On wedding day you can catch me snacking on salt n vinegar chips
-
Wildest "save the day" moment was when a guest lost a finger- maybe you'll hear about it one day
Katie "Lead Planner"
Lead Planner, problem-solver, and professional third wheel. Katie’s wedding day superpower? Reading a room, calming the chaos, and carrying six clipboards in one hand if needed.
Fun Facts:
-
Will always squeeze in a Burn Bootcamp workout before a wedding day if she can.
-
Can’t do a wedding without: an arsenal of snacks, her trusty clipboard, comfy shoes, and a pre-game playlist to get in the zone.
-
Wildest moment? Kept the whole day on track while the videographer slowly morphed into the drunk uncle with a camera—thanks to a few too many flask-spiked Shirley Temples.
