My path into this chaotic, beautiful industry started out in Napa Valley, California, working at a massive winery venue. Managing high-end events in wine country taught me something very quickly: A gorgeous design layout and bulletproof timeline doesn't matter if the couple is too stressed to enjoy it.

I realized that the real heart of a wedding isn't about having a strict or traditional day, but instead for creating space for your favorite people to get a little rowdy on the dance floor and celebrate the fact that you two are officially a team. 

I brought that wine-country hospitality back home to Wisconsin to start Redwood Weddings. I don't do rigid, stuffy timelines. I do organized, seamless, high-energy celebrations where you get to breathe, laugh, be a guest at your own wedding and leave the bossing-around to me.
